PUSD schedules hybrid Community Advisory Committee meeting

Pomona Unified School District’s October 20 announcement schedules its Community Advisory Committee for Special Education for Thursday, October 29, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The district lists the meeting as hybrid.

The district’s agenda lists the Strategic Planning Room at the Education Center, 800 S. Garey Ave., Pomona, and provides a Zoom link. Use PUSD’s own CAC page or agenda instead of relying on a copied short link.

Planned—not decided

The posted English-Spanish agenda schedules SELPA updates, a vice-chair appointment, CAC bylaws, a special-education survey and a Parent Rights presentation. These are agenda items, not evidence that an appointment, policy, vote or other outcome occurred.

Source limit: This is an advance notice. The sources do not establish that the meeting occurred or promise accommodations or participation rights. The bilingual PDF includes one stale Spanish administrative date; we do not repeat or silently repair that sentence.

Cal Poly Pomona calendar lists a new-club workshop

Cal Poly Pomona’s featured-events calendar lists a New Club Workshop for Thursday, October 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. It names the Rainbow Weaver Conference Room as the location and the Bronco Leadership Center as the organizer.

The center’s club guidance says students starting a new campus club must attend a new-club workshop. Students considering a new organization can use the calendar listing, then contact leadership@cpp.edu to confirm the current session, room and access.

Why confirmation matters

The event-specific calendar lists October 29, but the center’s general guidance says these workshops occur in September and February. The calendar does not state registration, capacity, a building address or whether nonstudents may attend.

Source limit: Treat the October 29 entry as a future campus listing, not guaranteed participation or club approval. The event page does not show a publication date. Confirm with the Bronco Leadership Center before making a trip.

For the CAC meeting, use PUSD’s CAC page and agenda for the in-person details and Zoom access. For the campus workshop, check the CPP calendar and email the Bronco Leadership Center because its general schedule does not match this specific October 29 listing.
