Rent-stabilization operations return with two alternative funding paths.

Pomona’s October 19 agenda asks the City Council to consider continued operation of the Rent Stabilization and Eviction Control Program. The two listed reserve appropriations are alternatives—not a combined total or an adopted decision.

Agenda file 26-1756 presents two possible fiscal-year 2026–27 general-fund reserve appropriations: $273,801 or $355,401. The listing does not say that either amount has been selected.

The city lists a 5 p.m. special closed session, a 5:30 p.m. special meeting and a 7 p.m. regular meeting at Council Chambers and online. At our 11:46 a.m. check, the city still said actions and results were unavailable.
